Our Cattery

At Sarahna we are particularly concerned with healthy breeding and husbandry practices. To that end, we have selected healthy foundation cats with excellent bloodlines and provide them with optimal living conditions. Our queens live with the family and have the run of our large country home. They watch birds and wildlife from our windows, scratch their backs on our stone hearth, and play around my loom and spinning wheel. They also have their very own large, well-lit sanctuary room with individual feeding stations, beds, and toys.

We have a comfortable isolation room for new cats or kittening queens, and a separate older kitten room where growing kittens can play and socialize with the family in a safe and healthy environment.

Our sires have their very own housing area as well, in a spacious and well-lit room with their own territories and plenty of toys and individual attention.

Who We Are

Sarahna is a family-owned and run cattery in western Pennsylvania, ninety miles north of Pittsburgh and convenient to Erie, Cleveland, and Buffalo. 

We have been Siamese cat fanciers for many years, having owned traditional Siamese since childhood. For many years prior to her medical training, Jennifer was involved in the training and care of horses. This experience in animal husbandry, along with her training as a physician, has been a helpful foundation for the creation of a high quality cattery where a healthy environment and a high quality of life are the prime concerns for these beautiful cats.

Having retired from family practice, Jennifer is finally able to fulfill a dream and raise Siamese and Balinese cats. She is assisted by two of her grown children, Dan and Sarah, whose expertise and enthusiasm  ensure that our cats, and your kittens, are the very best available.
